The Bosio Family uses the word “Estates” to embody both assets and heritage, deeply rooted in the Santo Stefano Belbo, Alba and Asti area, Langhe hills of Piedmont, Italy—a region rich in tradition and celebrated by authors like Cesare Pavese and Beppe Fenoglio. With the creation of Bosio Family Estates, Valter, Luca, and Rosella Bosio signaled a shift toward a global vision while remaining anchored in local winemaking traditions, especially after acquiring the Belcolle winery in Verduno, known for Barolo and Pelaverga. Embracing the “GLOCAL” philosophy, they aim to connect their strong regional roots with international aspirations, believing that their land, now part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, and their wines—Moscato, Barbera, and Barolo—represent a cultural heritage meant to be shared. For the Bosios, winemaking is both a timeless ritual and a way of life, best understood as a shared legacy poured into every glass.
