Two of our team members from La Cantina Wines, recently had the opportunity to visit Italy for the first time, to attend Vinitaly, the prestigious wine trade show in Verona.
Vinitaly is the leading wine and spirits trade fair which targets wine business operators in international markets. Our attendance at this world renowned event allowed us to connect with our current suppliers and establish new relationships.
As a cornerstone of the global wine industry, Vinitaly attracts experts, producers, distributors and wine enthusiasts from all across the globe.

Our Directors also, had the privilege of visiting the Bottega Winery.
During the tour, they quickly recognized that the company’s values and commitment to quality, aligned perfectly with the essence of La Cantina.

MONTHLY PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

Bottega Gold is made from soft pressed Glera grapes grown in the Province of Treviso.
The fermentation process last for at least 35 days before bottling.
The elegance, freshness and liveliness of its bubbles stem from the beauty and tradition of its territory, where unmistakable panoramas are shaped by vineyards.
Color and Appearance
Bright, straw yellow, fine and persistent perlage.
Bouquet
Typical and refined with fruity (green apples, pear, citrus fruits) and floral notes – (white flowers, acacia, wisteria and lily of the valley), sage and spices.
Taste
Soft, harmonious and elegant, with a slim body and with lively yet balanced acidity.
Serving Suggestions
Aperitif and special occasions. Creamed codfish, Prosecco risotto, salt-baked sea bass fillet.

Fresh, delicate, soft, structured, with balanced acidity and a pleasant and persistent aftertaste.

Excellent as an aperitif, it accompanies any meal. It goes particularly well with vegetarian and fish dishes (sushi, shellfish, crudités), white meats and cheeses and is also pleasant after-dinner.

Bottega Rose Gold is a Brut rosé sparkling wine obtained through crafting Pinot Noir grapes, grown in Lombardy. This sparkling wine undergoes 24 hours of cold maceration followed by a secondary fermentation process utilizing the Charmat method. Its refreshing, delicate balance forms a complex character that reflects its limestone and clay origin.
Color and Appearance
Brilliant, subtle pink color, fine and persistent perlage.
Bouquet
Intense, elegant, complex, characterized by floral and fruity notes, mainly mixed berries, currants and wild strawberries.
Taste
Fresh, delicate, soft, structured, with balanced acidity and a pleasant and persistent aftertaste.
Serving Suggestions
Excellent as an aperitif, it accompanies any meal. It goes particularly well with vegetarian and fish dishes (sushi, shellfish, crudités), white meats and cheeses and is also pleasant after-dinner.

Bottega White Gold a perfect blend of Glera, Chardonnay and Pinot grapes, this Brut sparkling boasts exceptional character. It magnificently captures the essence of the territory, where grapes are grown from the foot hills in Treviso to the Adriatic Sea in Venice.
Color and Appearance
Straw yellow with gold reflexes, fine and persistent perlage.
Bouquet
Elegant and refined, it is characterized by fruity hints (mainly apple and peach), delicate floral aromas (hawthorn above all), with a finish of honey notes and a special aroma that reminds of dried fruit.
Taste
Soft and captivating, on the palate it creates a perfect balance between the freshness of Glera grapes, the body of Chardonnay grapes and the acidity of Pinot grapes.
Serving Suggestions
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes particularly well with fish or vegetable based first courses (ideal with seafood risotto or pea risotto), grilled fish, crustaceans and shellfish.
It is also a perfect match with white meat (chicken and turkey) and with vegetable-based dishes.
