Located in the heart of the Prosecco territory, Serena Wines 1881 is a family owned business founded in 1881, today headed by the fifth generation Luca Serena. It boasts a long history and a centuries-old winemaking tradition. Based in Conegliano (TV), Serena Wines 1881 today produces 27 million 75cl bottles (as well as approx. 7.5 million in 20cl format), with exports accounting for circa 56% of total turnover: figures that really do make it one of the giants not only on the Conegliano wine growing panorama but in the entire Veneto region, to be precise among the top five producers of Prosecco DOC. Besides the prolific and popular production of Prosecco DOC, Prosecco DOC Rosé and Prosecco DOCG sparkling wines, the Serena Wines 1881 catalogue offers semi-sparkling wines and also red and white still wines ranging from international grape varieties to traditional local grapes.
Serena Wines 1881 has diversified its production into different brands which, with a broad and varied range of sparkling, semi-sparkling, still reds and whites, IGT and table wines, are able to suit all palates, occasions and positioning requirement. All brands are produced in-house by Serena and guarantee the excellence of their territory of origin. These brands include, to name but a few: Serena 1881, Ville d’Arfanta, Champagne De Vilmont, Corte delle Calli, Audace, The Deer, L’UVAS (kegged wine), Costaross, Serenello and Vigne Verdi.
