Brutocao Pinot Noir

2015

A single vineyard Pinot Noir, which is grown in the warm days and foggy evenings of the Anderson Valley. Aged in French oak and new oak barrels for 18 months.

First breath of this wine opens to cherries with cinnamon followed by allspice and strawberry flowers. On the palate, cherry cola and cinnamon sticks with bright acidity greet you and roll into the mid with a rich mouth-feel. The finish is long, with lingering notes of raspberry, cherry, and nutmeg.
Food Pairings: Duck à l’orange, Rack of Lamb, Grilled Salmon or Shark, Portobello Mushroom Pasta, Pasta Primavera.
