The second wine of Château La Cabanne, produced from a small 1.4-hectare parcel planted to Merlot, with the 2020 vintage comprising 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. The wine is matured in a combination of vat and French oak, developing a concentrated yet polished profile of ripe cassis, blackberry and roasted cherry, with graphite, violet, pepper, cocoa and subtle vanilla. The palate is full and supple, with juicy fruit, mineral freshness, fine-grained tannins and a persistent finish.
