JM Gobillard Grande Reserve Premier Cru Brut Champagne

NV

A refined non-vintage Champagne from the historic village of Hautvillers in the Champagne region of France. Classified as Premier Cru, it is crafted from carefully selected vineyard sites in Hautvillers, Cumières, and Dizy, known for producing expressive and high-quality fruit.

This cuvée is a traditional Champagne blend composed of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, and 25% Pinot Meunier, giving it a balanced profile that combines freshness, structure, and fruitiness. A significant proportion of reserve wines (around 30%) is incorporated into the blend, ensuring consistency and added depth year after year. The wine is produced using the traditional method and aged for a minimum of 30–36 months on the lees, which enhances complexity and develops its signature creamy texture.

In the glass, it shows a pale golden color with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is elegant and expressive, offering aromas of green apple, citrus zest, white flowers, and subtle brioche or toasted bread notes. On the palate, it is round, smooth, and well-balanced, with flavors of orchard fruits, lemon, and a gentle creamy richness supported by fresh acidity. The finish is clean, refined, and lightly mineral.

This Champagne is versatile and food-friendly, making it ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, poultry, soft cheeses, and light creamy dishes.
