The Diversitas range is Talamonti’s more contemporary line, created as a tribute to the biodiversity and natural richness of Abruzzo. The wines are named after native animals found across the region.
La Lepre is the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, made from 100% Montepulciano. It is a fruit-forward, approachable expression with ripe cherry and plum aromas, lively fruit, soft tannins and elegant oak spice. It is aged for 6 months in large 34-hectolitre oak barrels, preserving the fruit while adding subtle complexity. It pairs particularly well with lamb, pork, pasta with rich sauces and seasoned cheeses.
The name La Lepre, meaning “the hare,” reflects the wildlife and biodiversity that are central to the Diversitas philosophy.
