La Petite Lune Blanc is a Bordeaux Blanc created by Olivier Bernard of Domaine de Chevalier, in collaboration with consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt, developed as a more accessible extension of the Clos des Lunes philosophy.
The wine is a Sauvignon Blanc with a small percentage of Sémillon, the Sauvignon providing freshness and citrus-driven aromatics, while Sémillon contributes texture and roundness.
It is fresh, aromatic and generously textured, showing white peach, apricot, citrus, white tropical fruit and floral notes, with lively acidity, a subtle mineral/saline character and a clean finish. It is designed as an approachable Bordeaux Blanc that delivers immediate drinking pleasure.
Pairing: excellent with seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, salads, sushi, light poultry and soft cheeses.
