Produced from the Bordeaux Supérieur parcels of Château d’Issan, located close to the Gironde estuary. The wine is an unusual Médoc blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, offering ripe, generous red and dark fruit with subtle spice, a round and supple palate, silky integrated tannins and a fresh, balanced finish. The 2022 vintage was hand-harvested and aged for 12 months in oak, including 25% new barrels.
