The Diversitas range is Talamonti’s more contemporary line, created as a tribute to the biodiversity and natural richness of Abruzzo. The wines are named after native animals found across the region.
La Tartaruga Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC is part of Talamonti’s Diversitas range, made from 100% Trebbiano Abruzzese. It is a fresh, lively white with aromas of citrus, ripe apple and peach, followed by gentle acidity and a pleasant mineral character. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and receives around two months of bottle ageing, preserving its bright, youthful style.
The name La Tartaruga, meaning “the turtle,” reflects Abruzzo’s biodiversity and the region’s importance as a habitat for Hermann’s tortoises and sea turtles. It is an excellent aperitif and pairs particularly well with oysters, seafood, sushi, light fish dishes, pasta salads and Caprese salad.
