Tre Saggi Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC is one of Tenuta Talamonti’s more premium expressions of Montepulciano, showcasing the depth and elegance of Abruzzo’s signature red grape. The name Tre Saggi, meaning “Three Wise Men,” refers to the three selected vineyard parcels used to create the wine.
The wine is aged in French oak, giving it greater complexity and structure while retaining the rich fruit character of Montepulciano. It typically shows ripe blackberry and black cherry, spice, vanilla and subtle toasted notes, with well-integrated tannins and a long, smooth finish.
It pairs particularly well with red meats, grilled or roasted meats, game, hearty pasta dishes and aged cheeses.
